Dark Brownies
This is a nice recipe for dark homemade brownies!
Yield:
1 9x9 pan of brownies!
Ingredients:
1 cup butter (melted)
1 1/2 c sugar
3 eggs
3/4 c cocoa (I used Anthony's brand)
1/2 c flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 c water (approximately)
1/2 c chocolate chips (optional)
1/2 c nuts (optional)
Directions:
1) Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
2) Cream together butter, sugar and eggs.
3) Add to mix cocoa powder, flour, baking soda, salt, and water.
4) Stir until thick. Do not be tempted to add more liquid.
5) Add in desired amount of chocolate chips and nuts.
6) Scoop into greased 9x9 pan.
7) Bake for 35-45 min until desired consistency.
8) Eat warm with vanilla ice cream or allow to cool!
